During my recent business trip to El Puerto de Santa Maria, I had the pleasure of staying at Hostal Alhaja Playa. The hotel was chosen by our director, and I couldn't be more impressed with the choice. The guest house provided a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience.

24-hour reception, pool, free Wi-Fi, beautiful natural surroundings. Cons: Oh, the joy of not knowing anything at check-in! I had such a blast going back and forth to get info. Thank you, lovely staff! 😒

Brilliant welcome by staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was cleaned everyday and always smelled amazing. Hotel is a bit out the way but we loved it. Excellent location, 2 min walk to the beach. Free gated parking. Luis provided snacks and ordered takeaway for us. Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. Quiet and tranquil atmosphere. Great value for money.

I always stay at a place with friendly staff who helped me find a money exchange. It has Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and 24-hour reception and security. , a bar and coffee shop. With a flat-screen TV, I enjoy various activities like hiking and golf at a beach-accessible location. AC and non-smoking rooms suit my needs. Can't wait for my weekend stay!

As longer term business travelers, we really appreciated the convenient location of The Hostel. It was just a short 5 minutes drive to both the waterfront area and the beach at Puerto Sherry. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a nice space for us to rest after a long day of work. We also loved that the hostel is pet friendly and allowed us to bring our furry friend along. The staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly, making us feel right at home. If you're looking for a nice place to stay on a budget, we highly recommend The Hostel.

Anna and Luis made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them, a real home from home and I would definitely like to return to this hostel. This was one of the best value for money accommodations we stayed at during our trip to Spain and was situated ideally for the beach and marina. It was a 20 minute walk to the ferry for Cadiz. I highly recommend this hostel to other travellers.

Luis is very very helpful and friendly. Quite a distance from Cadiz, but a great little local town, and a short walk through the trees to the beach.
